Special Presentation: Beacon Waterfront Informational Program
The City Council meets on the 1st and 3rd Monday of each month at 7:00 pm in the Court Room of the Municipal Center.
Many of the regular agenda items will be suspended this week—including the opening public comments.
The purpose of this special program is to reacquaint the public and the City Council with the comprehensive plans for the waterfront, provide updates on existing projects, and offer important information about new projects—including an overview of the environmental, economic, and traffic benefits and impacts of these projects.
Presentations by: the City Planner, representatives of the Dutchess County Department of Planning and the Beacon Waterfront Comprehensive Plan Subcommittee
Brief updates about: DIA, Beacon Institute, Scenic Hudson, Foss Group Longdock Hotel and Conference Center, the Beacon Harbor Management Plan, the new Edgewater Residential Development at Tompkins Terrace by the waterfront, and new MTA Transit Oriented Development.
Whenever possible, the agenda will be posted here in advance of the meeting and afterward replaced with the meeting minutes.
The meeting will be recorded and broadcast on Channel 22 on Monday, Wednesday and Friday at approximately 12pm and 8pm. It will also be available for viewing online.
