CITY-WIDE YARD SALE
Saturday, June 9th 2012 9am to 3pm

Attention Sellers: List your yard sale for $10 or talk to your neighbors and list 3 for $20. Your sale will be listed by street address. This list will be available to shoppers on the morning of the sale at City Hall as well as online for the weeks leading up to the sale. You will also receive a City Wide Yard Sale sign to mark your house on the day of the sale.

The City Wide Yard Sale will be locally advertised by the Recreation Department.

Please submit your registration form and fees by June 4, 2012.

Tennis Camp
Classes will be designed to meet the needs of the individual group. Groups will be determined based on age and experience. Instruction will include everything from basic strokes and rules for beginners, to match play and strategy for more advanced players. No experience is necessary.

Beacon Hoops Summer Basketball Program
Registration is open to boys and girls ages 6 to 18 years old. Games played weeknights in Riverfront and South Avenue parks. This program is run by a team of dedicated volunteers and more are always needed. Signup your child and consider becoming a coach, scorekeeper, timer or team parent too!

Pee Wee 6-7 years old- Monday & Wednesday in July and August
Intermediate 8-9 years old- Monday & Wednesday in July and August
Rookie 10-12 years old- Monday & Wednesday in July and August
Junior 13-15 years old- Tuesday & Thursday in July and August
Senior 16-18 years old*- Tuesday & Thursday in July and August

* Boys only, Must be 18 or under at 1st game
EARLY REGISTRATION IS STRONGLY RECOMMENDED. Each Division has a limited amount of spaces available and registration will be closed when the spaces are filled. Please Register by June 12, 2012 
  

PARK PLAYGROUND DAYS
Mondays - Tuesdays – Thursdays – Fridays
9:00am to 3:00pm

Join us this summer at in our parks for our summer playground days program. For children age 6 – 12. Activities include arts & crafts, bingo, organized sports and much more for children ages 6-12 (older siblings may not stay while program is in session). Counselors will be at the park from 90:00am to 3:00pm Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday weather permitting. On rainy days the park program will be closed. If your child is at the park and it begins to rain, you must be available to pick your child up ASAP. Pre-registration is required and space is limited. A birth certificate and proof of residency are required. Registration deadline is June 18, 2012.

 *Please note if minimum registration is not met at Green Street Park the Playground Program will only run at Memorial Park*

Wednesdays
9:00am to 3:00pm

A fun filled travel program for children 6-12 years of age. Every week offers a chance for fun outside of our parks at different destinations in Dutchess County. Scheduled field trips leave from Memorial Park on Wednesdays. Hours are 90:00am to 3:00pm. Every child will receive a
t-shirt that must be worn on Wednesday field trips. Rain dates will not be scheduled for trips that are “weather permitting.” A refund will be issued at the end of the program for all cancelled trips. Refunds will not be given if you have signed up for a trip but your child does not attend. For Children 6 – 12 years of age. Pre-registration is required and space is limited. Birth certificate and proof of residency are required.
