Note: To return to the CityofBeacon.org web site, please click the back arrow return button found on the upper left portion of your screen's browser. A Council Workshop is held on the Monday preceding a Council Meeting at the Municipal Center beginning at 7:00 PM. Council Meetings are held on the first and third Monday of each month. Council Workshops differ from meetings for three significant reasons. (1) Although Workshops are open to the public there is no public input opportunity, as there is at Council Meetings. (2) The Council will not take an official or binding vote at any Workshop meeting. All action taken that will lead to a "vote" by the City will be held at regular Council meetings only . (3) Workshop minutes do not pass through an approval process by the Council and are therefore not a certified account and may therefore contain various degrees of accuracy and content.
